Undergraduate Electronic and Computer Engineering Year 4 Modules

Students are required to take the following 3 modules and 3 optional modules from Semester 1 [15 credits]:

Students taking the 4E2 Project must choose a total of 6 modules (15 credits in each semester) from the list below in Semester 1 & 2, which must include at least 2 CS coded modules.

4E2 Electronic Engineering Project [15 credits]

Students taking 4E04 in Semester 2, select 3 optional modules from Semester 1

4E04 Engineering Project Internship [30 credits]

  • 4C16 Machine Learning with Applications in Media Engineering [5 credits]
  • 4D2A Information Management II [5 credits] - (also referred to as CS3041)
  • 3421 Computer Architecture II [5 credits]
  • 4052 Computer Graphics [5 credits]
  • 4053 Computer Vision [5 credits

Semester 2 Module Options (select 3):

  • 4C8 Digital Media Processing [5 credits]
  • 4C15 Analogue Signal Processing [5 credits]
  • 4D2B Knowledge Engineering [5 credits] (CS3041 is a pre-requisite)
  • 4405 Optimisation Algorithms for Data Analysis [5 credits
  • 4407 Security and Privacy [5 credits]
  • 7434 Augmented Reality [5 credits] (4052 and 4053 are pre-requisites)
  • 4B9 Control Engineering I [5 credits]
  • 4B12 Acoustics [5 credits]
