Paula Flynn has written a chapter in an international book, co-authored by Dr.Michael Shevlin and Dr. Anne Lodge which is due for publication on August 17th, 'Routledge International Companion to Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties'. The chapter is entitled 'Pupil Voice and Participation: Empowering Children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties' (Chapter 27, pp253 - 260). The publication is based on data and analysis from her doctoral research.

 

Dr Andrew Loxley, Prof Michael Grenfell and Dr Aidan Seery have been invited to edit a special edition of the International Journal of Research and Method in Education focusing on the teaching and learning of research methodology. A copy of the ‘call for papers’ can be found here [PDF].

Dr. David Limond has contributed a chapter entitled “The gods of the market tumble: Against neo-liberalism, for intellectualism and towards new universities in Ireland” and Dr. Aidan Seery has written a chapter on knowledge and the university in the recently published volume “Degrees of Nonsense: The Demise of the University in Ireland” which was edited by Dr. Brendan Walsh of DCU.
