Our Research

The School of Education is engaged in research in a wide range of areas related to the study of education. In addition the School has two associated research centres and four new research groups;

• Arts Education (AE)
• Cultures, Academic Values & Education Research Group (CAVE)
• International Research for an Inclusive Society (IRIS)

The School has also engaged in externally funded research in a number of areas. Further information in relation to theses activities is available from the menu on the left.

The School of Education is active in the area of postgraduate supervision and currently has 76 research students at both Masters (Research) and PhD levels.

Applications are welcome from suitably qualified graduates wishing to pursue M.Litt. or PhD level research within the School of Education. Applications should be made directly to the Graduate Studies office, Trinity College Dublin.
