| The ERC are delighted to announce the publication of Gridlock: Dublin's transport crisis and the future of the city by James Wickham. GRIDLOCK, tackling as it does the major issue of poor transport infrastructure, an issue with which an increasing portion of the population grapples on a daily basis, is part of a series of reports and publications that have been issued by the think tank TASC over the last three years. These tackle some of the major social and economic issues confronting Ireland, and which will form the battleground of the next election: the crisis in housing, the ideological battle over the privatisation of major public assets such as our national airline, the influence of America on Ireland and the thorny issue of public accountability.
