The E3 Scholarships

In July 2013, E3 Scholarships were awarded competitively to three academics in the School of Engineering to support PhD research projects aligned to the mission and agenda of the E3. Each PhD project will involve a collaboration between the Engineering principal investigator (PI) and an official collaborator in the School of Natural Sciences.

The E3 Scholarships will fund three-year PhD projects commencing in the autumn of 2013. Each E3 scholar will be provided with full tuition fees and a stipend. Financial resources for the E3 Scholarships have been provided by the School of Engineering, supported in part by a recent philanthropic gift to the School of Engineering to assist with the start-up programme of the E3.
