Welcome to the Communications Office website

The Communications Office is responsible for developing and managing the College’s communications strategy. This involves internal and external communications, media relations, promoting Trinity College Dublin as a leading research and teaching university in Ireland and abroad to key audiences and enhancing its reputation, managing the Trinity brand and the event management of major College functions.

Promoting Trinity in the media, the Communications Office is the central point for all College communications with the media, handling queries from national, regional and international press.  It issues press releases and briefs journalists on matters relating to the College and identifies opportunities for showcasing the College's teaching, research, activities, achievements and priorities in the media.

In addition to this strategic work, the Communications Office manages requests for filming, broadcasting and photocalls on campus, devises and maintains the College’s Calendar of Strategic Communications Events, compiles and edits the College’s Annual Report, oversees the corporate identity and logo usage, and provides a support and advisory service for staff.

The Communications Office publishes news items on the homepage of the Trinity website and is responsible for the weekly Listings publication, administering the College’s web-based Noticeboard and Information Screens, advertising and managing the content of the College’s official social media channels on Twitter and Facebook.
