Menus

To add a menu item

Please complete the following before contacting digital@tcd.ie

1. Create the page of content the menu item will later link to
2. Ensure the file and folder naming is inline with our naming files guidelines: tl;dr lowercase, and remove spaces or replace spaces with hyphens
3. Upload the page to your website
4. Write an email to digital@tcd.ie with the following
   • The title of the menu item
   • Where the menu item will be placed
   • The page URL

For example here is an email to add a menu item to the Public Affairs and Communications website

Title: Video
Placement in the menu: Public Affairs and Communications website > Digital > Video > as the second item
URL: http://www.tcd.ie/communications/digital/video/index.php
