The Funding Statements for the year ended 30 September 2012, as prepared on the agreed harmonised basis for the Irish University sector, were approved by the Board on 23 January 2013. The Funding Statements represent Part I of the financial reporting requirements of the Universities Act and reflect the core teaching/unfunded research along with research grants and contracts activity recorded in the Income & Expenditure Account.

The Consolidated Financial Statements, which represent Part II of the financial reporting requirements and prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting standards, are expected to be finalised in 2013.
