Influencing factors in accepting this job were:
I was working as a journalist after graduating from Trinity in Belfast. However, the work was unsteady and I wanted something that I could use my skills in and that was going to give me a chance to grow in my career.

Everything. I suppose in advertising, we are a jack of all trades and master of none. Our main role is being the agency's link with the client..

Using interpersonal skills to get people to do jobs they don't want to do...

No day is ever the same.

Advice for current TCD students entering the employment market:

My main advice is to spread your wings and get out of Ireland, there's so much of the world to see.

Most interesting part of my work:
Working in a company that is so international and a market leader, as employees, we constantly need to stay really up to date with all the changes that take place so the work stays really varied and interesting.

Advice for current TCD students entering the employment market:
As an Arts student, realise that you have lots to offer potential employers. There are no limits to the fields you can move into - you just need to be resourceful to find the right opportunity. My year long internship in New York which I stumbled upon on the internet, really helped me gain invaluable work experience to bridge the gap from English degree to career!
