Job opportunities in the European Commission
The European Commission is looking for applications in order to set up a panel of candidates for vacancies which may arise in the following fields: administration, audit, secretariat, economy, finance, information and communication, languages, law, policy, program/project management and statistics. Successful candidates will be offered a fixed-term contract of a maximum duration of three years.
Applicants must have a thorough knowledge of one of the 24 official EU languages and a satisfactory knowledge of a second (which must be English, French or German).
Applications must be made online, and as vacancies arise, the European Commission services will search the database of completed applications and identify candidates to be invited for an interview.
The majority of vacancies will be in Brussels (Belgium), Luxembourg (Luxembourg) or Ispra (Italy), although some positions may be open in other places of employment, such as Geel (Belgium), Karlsruhe (Germany), Petten (The Netherlands) and Seville (Spain).
There is no set deadline for this exercise but the Commission reserves the right to close the call at any time, in which case the closing date will be published at least one month in advance on the Europa and EPSO websites.
