Science and Engineering Post Graduate Opportunities at Intel
Invitation to an information event
March 6th 2013 2pm to 6pm
Intel Leixlip, Building IR6. Leixlip, Co Kildare.
Dear Students,
Intel Corporation’s business strategy over the last 40 years has been to continually drive forward the boundaries of Moore’s Law, resulting in world leading process technologies with a new generation being produced almost every two years. Each year we hire a certain number of new college graduates to ensure that we keep our talent pipeline strong and refreshed. Our current needs are pointing us towards Science and Engineering graduates at the Masters/PhD level and we have future opportunities for suitable candidates initially on 11 month fixed term contracts.
Suitable candidates will join a highly successful team of process and yield engineers at Intel Ireland. Their role will include many aspects of high volume manufacturing with world leading technologies including technology transfer, volume ramping and rapid continuous improvements in safety, quality, yield, reliability, cost, process stability/capability and output.
Engineers at Intel work on the most modern semiconductor plasma, deposition and lithographic equipment, producing the worlds most advanced electronic devices composed of structures at the nano scale. Hands-on participation with frequent factory floor presence is highly encouraged. The job also includes developing solutions to problems based on scientific expertise, statistical knowledge, and problem-solving tools as well as developing strategy to prevent the problem from recurring in future.
Engineers at Intel Ireland work hand in hand with their colleagues in the technology development facilities and other high volume manufacturing facilities in the US, Israel and China. This interaction involves regular contact and also potentially, job assignments at our sister sites.
If you are a Science or Engineering student about to graduate in 2013, then we would like to invite you to an information event at Intel in Leixlip on Wednesday March 6th 2013.
The agenda is outlined below and we would ask that you pre-register by sending an email to Emer O’Leary (emer.m.oleary@intel.com) with graduation date, your major academic discipline, eg electrical engineering, physics, chemistry etc and a copy of your CV if possible.
