eLearning Training

CLT run a series of eLearning training workshops during the course of each academic term. These workshops vary from theoretical workshops looking at the initial design and planning of an eLeaning project to the use of different applications, in particular the current Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), currently WebCT/Blackboard.

It is endeavoured where possible to use eLearning to deliver training, thus giving the academic the experience of participating as an online learner and also to show the potential of working in an online environment. Currently we run a Workshop on eModerating eTivities that is delivered entirely on line over an 8 week period. We plan to launch a new online course on Planning and Designing eLearning next term which will allow the academic to take the course at any time, from their office but also to submit their ideas and plans for feedback and mentoring. For dates and information on this workshop keep an eye on our News and Events sections on our home page.

Training can also be provided on request for delivery within a Department or School. If you have a number of academic staff interested in training this can be arranged and tailored to suite you requirements. Contact ckane@tcd.ie for further information or to make a booking.

To view the full list of training workshops check out our Events Calendar where you can book a place on any of our workshops online
