Course/Module Design and Development

The eLearning team supports the Academic community in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and learning by allowing access to and development of on-line modules. A well-designed module, underpinned by pedagogy, can support the student in active and independent learning. Learning outcomes can be clearly identified for the student, and aligned with quality course material, activities and assessments.

The College eLearning team can support lecturers in designing and developing on-line courses within the College Blackboard Learn system.

Blackboard Learn 9.1

To facilitate academics in enhancing student learning through the use of best practice in eLearning, College uses the Virtual Learning Environment, Blackboard Learn 9.1.

Blackboard Learn 9.1 facilitates the creation of interactive learning environments through the design and development of web-based courses. All teaching modules have a presence in Blackboard Learn 9.1. Please email us at bblearn@tcd.ie
