The Centre for Learning Technology (CLT) held its Sixth Annual E-Learning Conference; Innovative Practice in eLearning: Engaging Learning through New Technologies in May 2006 at Trinity College Dublin. If you are interested in attending future events, please email [clt@tcd.ie] or contact a member of our team.

The conference highlighted e-Learning innovations within Higher Education, both national and international, and provided insight into the inception, design, development and integration of successful e-Learning initiatives. Demonstrations of successful e-Learning, from academic disciplines such as Health Sciences, Arts Humanities, Arts Letters, Engineering, Science, Business Economics & Social Studies were made. Many of the demonstrations are the result of successful project proposals funded under the TCD Learning Innovation Projects.

Keynote Speaker: Prof. Grainne Conole Activity Based Learning: Making the Right Choices for Successful Learning Design

Prof Conole is Professor of e- Learning in the Institute of Educational Technology at the Open University UK. She is one of the leading international figures in the field of research in technology enhanced learning.
