Grounds and Gardens Staff.

Grounds and Gardens Supervisor. David Hackett, ext 1630 hackettd@tcd.ie

Assistant Grounds and Gardens Supervisor. Aidan Byrne, ext 3090. abyrne3@tcd.ie

The Grounds and Gardens Staff are responsible for:

  • The maintenance of all grounds, gardens and sports fields on Campus and in the outside properties, eg., Santry Playing Fields, the Boat Club at Islandbridge, the Trinity Centre at Tallaght Hospital and St. James's Hospital.
  • Litter management on Campus.
  • Waste management and recycling facilities on Campus.
  • Supporting the administration of College examinations on and off Campus.

Grounds and Gardens staff

Superintendent DU Sports Facilities at Santry. Joe Morgan. He may be contacted through the Grounds Supervisor or the Facilities Officer.

Boat House Superintendent. Andrew Coleman. He may be contacted through the Chief Steward or the Facilities Officer.

To be considered, all completed applications should be returned to their Dean/COO by April 6th. Dean's/COO's prioritised applications must be submitted to the Director of Buildings Office no later than the 13th of April 2012.
