Assessment Regulations for Broad Curriculum Cross-Faculty Courses

Candidates intending to present for Foundation Scholarship (Schol), please note that it is not possible to substitute a BC cross-faculty course as an element of the scholarship examination.
Assessment Procedures
1. Each BC cross-faculty course lecturer will receive from the Office of the Vice-Provost a list of students who are registered for her/his BC course.
2. At the end of Hilary term, each BC cross-faculty course lecturer will be advised to record each student's final performance by means of a percentage mark.
3. This record will be returned to the Office of the Vice Provost and a Court of Examiners' meeting will be arranged for late April/early May.
4. The BC Court of Examiners will comprise the Senior Lecturer (chair) and the BC cross-faculty course lecturers.
5. The Office of the Vice-Provost will communicate the BC cross-faculty course results for all students to the relevant School/Departmental Offices.
6. Where appropriate, BC supplemental examinations/submission of supplementary coursework will be provided for in August/September.
