The Irish Phenology Network made the news with our new website developed in conjunction with the National Biodiversity Data Centre in Waterford. Nature Watch is a website for the recording of phenological data by members of the public.

Visits were made to the International Phenological Gardens at Glenveagh National Park and at Armagh Observatory during the summer of 2009. The group met with the record keepers/caretakers of the gardens and assessed the state of the plants.

The phenology group went bird watching on Bull Island with Tom Cooney on during the early part of 2009.
