There will be an international workshop on the validation of satellite-based land surface phenology products on Friday June 18, 2010 from 08.30 to 17.00. This workshop is sponsored by the USGS, the USA National Phenology Network and Trinity College Dublin. International Society of Biometeorology Phenology Commission

The International Society of Biometeorology (ISB) Phenology Commission will hold a meeting during the conference at 17.30 until 19.30 on Wednesday June 16, 2010.  Topics to be discussed will include on-going efforts to standardize and enhance phenological protocols, as well as initiatives to increase and coordinate global phenological monitoring.
