Poster Guidelines and Suggestions

Posters will be displayed in designated areas throughout the conference. Although posters will be on display at all times, defined times have been allocated for delegates to attend their posters (during the 20 minute coffee breaks each morning and afternoon). Posters will be displayed on felt boards and we will supply velco for presenters to place on the back of their posters for hanging. Maximum size for posters is A0 (841 x 1189 mm, or 33.1 x 46.8 in.). A1 size (594 x 841 mm, or 23.4 x 33.1 in.) is preferred for poster presentations. Please bring handouts of your poster for interested delegates to take with them.

Oral Presentation Guidelines and Suggestions

Each presentation is allotted a total of 20 minutes—15 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes to address questions from the audience.  Moderators are instructed to enforce the time limit, and the moderator will stop a presenter who exceeds the time limit of 20 total minutes.  Please time your presentation accordingly to avoid this embarrassing situation.  Also, speak clearly and loudly so the audience can hear what you have to say.  We encourage all presenters to check their presentations on a Windows PC before coming to the conference to make sure all of their graphics are visible. Talks must be given to us the day before presentation (at check in if presenting on Monday June 14th) for loading on our system. If you are bringing your talk on a portable device please use a USB stick or CD (no floppys or zip discs).
