Sukid has a M.Sc. (Forestry) in Forest Biology, Department of Forest Biology, Faculty of Forestry, Kasetsart University, Thailand. Thesis Title: Vegetation Structure of Montane Forests in Thailand. He previously worked on the Researcher on the Long- term Ecology Research Project. Presently, Government Officer, Forestry Officer professional level at Bangkok Forest Herbarium (BKF) of National Park, Wildlife and Plant Conservation Department. He is fascinated by ecological and plant conservation.
PhD project: A Taxonomic revision and Systematics study of the Family Rosaceae in Thailand and Genus Prunus L. in continental South East Asia
Sukid is currently working on the Family Rosaceae project. His research focuses on the Family Rosaceae. This involves with clarify the phylogeny of Rosaceae and its related species based on morphological and molecular analysis, to provide a new generic and infrageneric classification of Rosaceae and its allies, a new taxonomic revision of the species of Rosaceae and analyze the historical biogeography of the Family Rosaceae in Thailand and Genus Prunus L. in continental South East Asia
