Students are required to submit a completed data sheet at the end of each practical, or to comlete the required exercises and have the Lab Manual assessed and signed by a lecturer or demonstrator at the end of each class.
The end of year written exam is worth 75% of the module marks and consists of one 90 min paper. Students are required to answer one essay from a choice of 3, plus 5 compulsory short-answer questions. Students should allow 40min for the essay question and 10 min for each of the short answer questions.
