Assessments/Examinations:

The allocation of marks for assessment of BY1101 will be as follows:

  • In-course Laboratory Assessments - 11.1 %
  • Practical Exams (multiple choice questions) - 22.2 %
  • End of year 3 hour written examination (Part 1: Choice of 2 from 6 essays; Part 2; 10 compulsory short-answer questions. Both parts carry equal marks) - 66.6 %
