Welcome
The Biology Teaching Centre is responsible for the coordination of all Biology teaching to Junior and Senior Freshman students in Science, as well as providing service teaching to other groups within the College. The BTC operates from the Science Course Office in the East End and, with input from over 50 academics staff, offers a total of 13 modules to almost 800 students. The Centre runs a suite of teaching laboratories in the East End (BIOLABS) where most Freshman (and some Sophister) practical teaching in Biology is carried out.
On this website you will find details of the Biology modules on offer, and the staff responsible for them. You will also find details (local access only) of timetables, deadlines, lecture support material, and assessment and examinations regulations.
