Social Programme
WELCOME RECEPTION
The Welcome Reception will take place at 19.30 on Saturday 19 July 2008 in the Main Dining Hall (Map) of Trinity College Dublin which is located in the cobble-stoned Front Square.
The Reception will consist of a Welcome Address on behalf of the University by the Dean of Engineering, Mathematics and Science Professor Clive Williams. Refreshments will be served, and entertainment will be provided by Bill Rutherford and the "Basquevilles".
BANQUET
The Conference Banquet will take place in the historic Guinness Storehouse, St James’s Gate Brewery, Dublin.
Full details of the programme for the evening, including transport arrangements, will be provided with your ticket.
We are very honoured that the Minister for Health and Children, Mary Harney, will attend the banquet and she will also give an informal address to the delegates.

BUS TOUR OF DUBLIN
All delegates and registered accompanying persons will be given tickets, at no charge, for the open top bus tour of Dublin. The tour can be taken at any time.
TOURS FOR REGISTERED ACCOMPANYING PERSONS
The following tours have been arranged for registered accompanying persons.
- Tour of the National Gallery of Ireland Sunday 20th July at 14:00h
- Customised tour of Trinity College that will include a visit to the Book of Kells Monday 21st July at 12:00h
- Design Yard Jewellers on Wednesday 23rd July at 10:00h
There is no charge for these tours.
