Facilities

At the core of the CSBMD is Ireland's first system for protein X-ray crystallography - The existing TCD X-ray facility, funded by the Higher Education Authority and Science Foundation Ireland includes a complete Rigakuk/MSC system with an X-ray generator, image plate, and cryo-cooling capabilities. The Molecular Design Group operates a dedicated 24 cpu modelling linux cluster with gigabit interconnect and 2 Tb NAS NFS disk, funded by the Irish Health Research Board and Science Foundation Ireland.

The CSBMD has key partnership and license agreements in place with the following software suppliers: Chemical Computing Group, Accelrys, Daylight Corporation, OpenEye Scientific, Simbiosys.
