Junior Sophister Mini-reviewMini-review BI3060The mini-review is due on the first day of Hilary Semester. Topics and supervisors will be assigned early in Michaelmas Semester. Students will be required to carry out a literature search and write an extended essay consisting of diagrams plus 6-8,000 words in the text. The ability of a student to survey and evaluate the literature and produce an organised, cogent synthesis will be taken into account. General guidelines on writing a review and a sample review are contained in the documents below. In preparation for the review you could look at some review articles in Current Opinion in Cell Biology. All reviews must be typed in 12 point font and spacing must be at least 1.5. You are required to submit your mini-review to scanning by plagerism detecting software and how to do that is explained in the document ‘Instructions for submitting mini-review to turnitin'
