Booking System

Booking for the facility is done on-line through Google Calendars.

To access go to www.google.com/calendar

Sign in with the username confocal.BI password olympusfv1000

View existing bookings/ free time etc by ensuring the appropriate Calendar (“Other Calendars”) is clicked - “olympus FV1000 confocal”, “spinning disk”, “fluorescent microscope olympus”.

Click and drag over your selected time on the calendar; then a window will appear to create an event. Put in your name for “What”. Make sure you select the correct calendar (Olympus FV1000 confocal or spinning disk) - if you do this wrong your booking will not be made. (This can all be done by clicking “Create Event” in the top left of screen too).

Researchers should still sign on and off on the usual log-in sheets at the machine.
