BioResources Unit
The unit provides service to the biomedical research community in Trinity College.
The mission of the unit is to ensure that an ethos of ethical behaviour is fostered among researchers using animals in the scientific community within the College.

26/6/2013 Since 01/01/2013, the Competent authority for regulating research involving animals is the
Irish Medicines Board.
There have been considerable changes in the application of the regulations.
It is important to have certain paper work and permissions in place.
