English for Academic PurposesProgramme Information 2012-13

TCD provides English language support for all students who do not have English as their first language (including students who have applied through the CAO system). If English is your second language, you may enrol in an intensive summer course, or weekly English language evening modules which run on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings in the first and second term.
Each course focuses on academic writing and academic spoken discourse, and aims to help students consolidate their English language proficiency in areas which are vital to successful university study. Students can also access our self-study resources, including online testing, and can participate in tailor-made English language writing clinics.
Please see our website for further information and to reserve a place on a course:  www.tcd.ie/slscs/English. For queries, email clcsinfo@tcd.ie.
